GOVERNMENT CONTACTS:
The President
The White House
The Senate
We've
all heard the saying, "Let go and let God" and what a timeless saying
this is. Jesus tells us today,
25
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what
you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will
put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather
into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more
value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his
stature?" (Matt 6:25-27).
Notice that Jesus started this verse with "Therefore" and so
we can
assume that He was referring to a statement He had just made. Well
let's look at the previous verse, Matt 6:24,
And see what it says:
24
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the
one and love
the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and mammon."
There is a
ridiculous concept spread by pure ignorance that says money causes all
manner of evil-How incredibly absurd!
Money is a tool
that is essential to life and living. Money allows for necessities and
pleasantries, and is used to build and maintain a higher quality of
life for all. The only
evil comes when you have allowed your money and self-seeking pursuits
to master your life. As a child of the Most High God, you do
not work for your money, it works for you-It is simply a tool.
Deuteronomy 28 clearly tells us that blessings are for us, but
they are not without conditions. “1
If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his
commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above
all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and
accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:..”
Beloved,
do not be vain, your ethnicity or perceived right standing
(righteousness) with God will not bring forth blessings.
Blessings and gifts are not earned, they are given by The Father who
sees the very workings of the heart-Cleanse your heart from all manner
of filth, and see what is for you.
THE WORRYING KIND
The lord has blessed us with little Annie, our 10 lb
Pomeranian.
She is adorable in every way, and way too smart for
everyone’s own good, especially hers. I will state
it the way that our Engineer states it, “Annie is so smart
that it actually torments her.” He goes on to say,
“She understands enough to know that she doesn’t
understand all things” and thus lovelies, this
places her in a state of worry.
Annie
worries about where we’re going and if she’ll
go (so much so that we now have to spell things out, and now
only the
first letter, because she‘s learned how to spell).
Annie worries
about her treat, will she get it or will I forget to give it to her.
Annie worries about Mama, and so she continually watches my
facial
expressions to see if there’s something that she needs to
concern herself with.
Annie simply worries, and
I am confident that she
was given to us ( me in particular), to see how bothersome and
senseless worry truly is. If only Annie could
understand that
we know what’s best for her: We know when to give treats, how
much she needs to eat, when to take her or when it’s too hot
for her to go in the car, when danger lurks such as a large bird of
prey that’s swooping too close, etc, etc.,
Beloved,
don't be an Annie, heed the Words of Jesus and understand that
worry only causes harm.
28 “So why
do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they
grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even
Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if
God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is
thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little
faith?
31
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we
eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or
‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things
the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all
these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matt
6:28-33).
HERE’S THE
NUGGET: Today is today. This day is not to be wasted on
the things that are not of your control. All
things, not some things,
all things that are of worth, value and purpose are gifts given to you
TODAY. Do not look over your shoulders to see what was or has
been; look forward about you and see, feel, smell, hear and bask in
what is for you today - All else is the Father‘s
concern.
Until Next time,
Let go, or you'll never know
